“Be Ready Always…”

One year ago, I was reading a history lesson to the kids about Christian martyrs when we got the news that Charlie Kirk had been martyred. It was one thing to read a historical lesson about the bravery of Christian martyrs, but to hear of one in America was incredibly shocking.

Charlie was incredible at debating and challenging others while maintaining respect. A huge light for Jesus went out that day. The spiritual warfare we’ve seen as a nation since then has been eye-opening to watch. Grateful for lots of his videos that are still circulating. I encourage you to go watch them if you haven’t. He was a great representative for Jesus.

Our entire mission on this earth, as Christians, is to love Jesus & others by sharing the gospel with the lost. It’s easy to forget this mission and to live for the temporary pleasures of this world.

Charlie still serves as an amazing example of a life lived for Jesus. His life on earth still makes the dark side angry, but despite a life lost, the truth he spoke is still serving as a light in this dark world today.

Are we ready & actively sharing the gospel with others?

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:” ~ I Peter 3:15
